50 Years of Mass shootings - the guns, the victims, the killers

A Washington Post story - rather staggering - about the carnage and the weapons and those who used them.

One side story which stunned me - and I had nearly forgotten about was about the 11 and 13 year olds who pulled a fire alarm to flush students and teachers out of their Jonesboro, Ark., middle school on March 24, 1998, and began shooting, killing four girls and a teacher and wounding 10 others. Between them, they had nine guns including two semiautomatic assault pistols. Both were released from prison when they turned 21- Five people dead and one served 10 years the other 8 and both are now free.
