Tammy L. Irons Sir, I am not sure why you directed your anger at me or on my FB page, but such a statement requires a response. First, I have never had a problem getting elected in Alabama as a Democrat. Second, take a real hard look at your Republican leaders in Montgomery - - - Republican Mike Hubbard (former Speaker of the House) indicted on 12 felony counts of ethical violations on June 3, 2016, Republican Governor Robert Bentley, facing impeachment and likely indictment for using your money/my money to jet around the country having an affair, Republican Chief Justice Roy Moore, suspended AGAIN from the Ala. Supreme Court. And if you think Democrats only violate the rules of Congress, you should have served with me in the Alabama Senate where the Republicans violated their own rules over and over in order to pass unconstitutional laws. Next time, you might direct your anger at the proper elected official. Thank you.

... Senator Tim Johnson D-SD(retired) and his response to a back row heckler he had at the South Dakota State Fair about 10 years ago. The heckler kept yelling, "Le-e-e-e-e-e-bral", at him while Tim was on stage, and was dumb enough to write a letter to the Sioux Falls ArgusLeader saying that Tim Johnson wouldn't talk to him at the fair. Johnson replied, "I recall you, and after my speech, I was in a three way discussion with three FARMERS on the upcoming farm bill, and you just stood there trying to interrupt us". (paraphrased, I recall it because I had attended Sunday School as a kid with this person when staying at my grandparents farm)

BTW, it was later revealed that him and his dad collected over $300,000 a year in subsidies on their farm.
