(5,737 posts)The VP position cannot affect legislation much. They do get to vote in the Senate by only when there is a tie vote. Warren does not need to be constrained by the VP role for that reason. She can beat on the GOP every single day and on every piece of legislation, all the while, influencing that legislation.

(12,233 posts)pre-primary, had posted in a general discussion type of manner regarding this thread, I wouldn't have thought twice about. I'm now sensoring my own thoughts and ideas because of DU now. It was a home in 2004 and beyond... I'm really sad about the loss of a home. Even worse, I'm saddened that discussion is being limited in such a small scope, that DU is becoming even worse of a "thought bubble". Perspective of reality in the real world is highly skewed at the moment.
