(135,425 posts)She got caught up in a lot of the mismanagement issues--she hardly was there before the conduct of some of the agents required her to fall on her sword. She didn't create the culture of misconduct but she wasn't given much chance to fix it either--when that intruder got into the WH, that was "it" for her--she had to go.

(135,425 posts)Al Gore and Bill Clinton were both two smart-as-whips southern bubbas--everyone said they were "too much alike" too.
The old paradigms don't play as well as they used to--mainly because candidates can use surrogates from hither and yon so easily, and everyone can be everywhere via the internet.
Look at the expressions on some of the onlookers' faces--they look like they're witnessing something really, really big.

Personally, I'd like to keep Liz in the Senate, but hell, maybe we can make her Veep and then pres. 16 years of progressive women presidents.
Hell, it might even revive Limbaugh's ratings.
