Palin to Trump: choose running mate who "wouldn’t need a food taste-tester around him, you know?"

Sarah Palin gave presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump some advice in one of the most confusing speeches she’s given to date.

When choosing a running mate, she said this weekend, “I would tell him to find someone who understands who the boss will be, someone who is not running too, someone who he could serve with who he wouldn’t need a taste test, a food taste-tester around him, you know? You know what I mean?”

No, sorry, we actually don’t know what you mean.

Palin endorsed Trump for president months ago in another address that made very little sense: “Trump’s candidacy has exposed, not just that tragic — that ramifications of the betrayal of a transformation of our country, but, two, he has exposed the complicity on both sides of the aisle that has enabled it, OK?”

So many Republicans are either skipping their convention or don't want a speaking slot. They're going to be hard-pressed to find prominent party members who will want to be seen endorsing their loser candidate. Since she endorsed Mr. Trump, Sarah Palin will probably be offered a prime-time opportunity. After all, The Donald loves her.

And it'll be great to watch!

Let me guess: The transformation is a Tea Party take-over and neither republican establishment nor Democrats have been willing to play along?

Alaska has no state prison to speak of; it contracts with Arizona to house its convicts. Palin's predecessor Frank Murkowski bought a Westwind jet and set up his own Con Air operation. When it wasn't hauling prisoners they used it for other state business, like hauling Frank's crooked ass. The man on the street, not realizing the plane's true purpose, was pissed about it. Palin exploited a wave of popular sentiment to sweep herself into office.

If you really want to show Palin as an idiot, bring up the Gravina Island Bridge...the one Palin named the Bridge to Nowhere. She'd be happy if you remembered only "fifty families" live out there and Saint Sarah stopped them from building it. She'd be less happy if you remembered Ketchikan is only accessible by air half the year, its airport is on that island, and she was fine with them building it until the Feds told Sarah there would be cost-sharing involved.

For a variety of reasons, I've been in and around mental institutions. In the book/movie "one flew over the cuckoo's nest", Ken Kesey introduces the concept of Bull Goose Loony. They exist. I've met them.

That's a Bull Goose Loony.

Not that they both aren't outlandish buffoons, but Trump being NPD afflicted Trump lives and dies off media attention. If he picks a GOP establishment friendly milquetoast it won't get nearly as much media attention as if he picks someone like Palin. And if he actually picks Palin herself, the media would go absolutely insane.

There's no bad publicity for Trump.

In this world, Sarah, the US Vice-President doesn't try and have the President assassinated* so he can take power.

*LBJ conspiracies notwithstanding.

I mean, she's saying don't pick a VP who'll have you bumped off, either literally or figuratively. Paranoid, undercutting, sociopathic at its worst, in other words the heart of the Trump/Palin fringe of the pseudoGOP.
