Politics and how it is used..
9/11 Cheney lied.. to Congress to.. to the American people.. to start a war.. the death of 100's of thousands of people.. on both sides..
The Democrats came into office and could have spent 8 years roasting and toasting every republican in office at that time.. the Democrats did not.. you can say that is bad or good..but the country was in crisis and the emphasis was on that economic crisis as well as the wars
The republicans have used 7 investigations to try and tar the Obama administration and the Democratic nominee.. Sec. Clinton.. for political gain.. and have failed..
There is no patriotism in the souls of the current republican party.. only power grab...and no process to understand what really happened and how to change things that needed to be changed..

Edt to add something to this... people make the best decisions they can make with the information they have on hand.. hold all accountable.. but they are not the same by any means..

(42,641 posts)The GOP showed during the first Clinton Presidency that their plan was obstruction. And that obstruction was continued during the Obama Presidency.
But given that the GOP has no real plan, no viable alternative to Democratic policy, the GOP obstructionism is framed as "standing up to intrusive government".
