I said in a post the other day the rest of the world will suffer until the moderate Muslim people unite and take on the crazies in their ranks themselves.

It is coming.. ISIS is lashing out because they are losing ground militarily and killing more Muslims then westerners for awhile now.

The fuse is lit.

My monies on the moderates.

Other than trying to stop them on the home front not much we can do.

5. We should learn from Israel.

When they get hit they clean up the mess and bury their dead. Go after the terror cells surgically.

Life goes on..they don't panic and declare war on the entire middle east.

11. You have a strange definition of "surgically"

Usually when people talk about doing things "surgically", that means going in and taking out just the bad parts and not hurting the good parts. That's quite nearly the opposite of what Israel does, which is to punish groups for the actions of a few, and then when terrorists get too effective, they use massive military force.

I'm not condemning Israel for that approach, because I don't have a better one. But it's certainly not "surgical".

Munich is something of an anomaly, and they did it that way because they had to operate on foreign soil.

8. There's an attempt to place them during Ramadan.

Jihadists like the hadith (or part of the Qur'aan) that calls it the time or month of jihad. I suspect that the lack of consistency in mapping such incidents to a calendar is largely due to the use of the incorrect calendar.

Ramadan started a few days ago. Palestinian violence immediately increased. It may be a fluke, given that it's only been a few days. It might not. Look at the long term.

There are terrorist attacks just about every day in Africa. Pakistan multiple serious attacks a year. Iraq tons.

It's been rarer in the west, but as people from these regions come to the west, the attacks will pick up. It's a cultural thing.
