Did we really expect anything different, especially when Bill and Lynch had their meeting; when she hadn’t been bound over earlier; when Barky said he was going to N.C. with her campaigning on OUR dime in OUR plane?

Nope, it is very clear now, there is only ONE choice for POTUS= Donald J. Trump....and if you vote for anyone other than him, your not a True Blue Blooded AMERICAN, you do not belong in this COUNTRY, and you are a COMMUNIST!!!

GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!

These come from the other progressive website where some former DUers hang out. It's interesting that their comments parallel those seen in Freeperville.

Let 'em gloat, its a long way until November.
This announcement just punts the problem past the convention and insures that Bernie won’t be nominated.
And increases suspicion that Lynch/Obama stepped in and overrode the FBI.

Yeah, I'm not sure it constituted absolution
“Vote for Hillary – sure she was careless and sloppy and less than truthful, but technically she did not commit a felony”.
Hell of an endorsement.

Your bravery inspired me to go over to "Freeperville" and also to that other progressive website where some former DUers now reside.

My report is that their anger, disappointment and predictions of doom were emotionally expressed. Oddly, many of the comments were nearly identical and interchangeable. In any case, heads exploding all around.

No, that's not it at all, obviously. They are free to support whichever candidate they choose, but DU's terms of service (to which they explicitly agree when joining) requires them not to undermine the Democratic candidate.

They're welcome to stay, but they can't bash Clinton nor campaign for a competitor.

Just trying to understand where those Democrats fall inside the Big Tent.
Those who were PPR'ed because they violated the TOS to which they'd explicitly agreed. They eliminated themselves.

Some have left voluntarily to hang out in the Jackdaw Cubicles, and they're welcome to do so.

However, since that site embraces a grossly misogynistic attitude and is unambiguous in its hatred for Clinton, the site is not considered an acceptable source for citations, nor does DU permit spamming here on behalf of that site.

Whether intentionally or not, you're trying to set this up as a case of cruel political persecution, when in fact it's nothing of the kind.

Assuming that your question was asked sincerely and wasn't actually the Concern Trolling that it looks like.

...misogynistic attitude over there.

I have been here much longer than my profile indicates. So, yes, I do know how it has traditionally worked around here. What I'm seeing now is a different DU than I have known, one that is exclusive to only one subset of the Democratic voters which now has disowned progressive Democrats for simply opposing the person who is now the presumptive nominee and supporting a different candidate.

I understand all the reasons they are there. What I don't understand is the hate DU has for a segment of Democratic voters.

I was a Bernie supporter. I always said I would support the Democratic nominee and I've been a Hillary watcher since I volunteered for Bill's second run at AR governor and worked directly with them on that campaign. You can insult and declare my motives all you want to, if that's what makes you feel...superior. Yes, I am concerned. Concerned that the DU I once knew and loved has a sinister undercurrent of hate for a segment of Democratic voters simple because they disagree with who should be the nominee. Personally, I don't think it's right or smart to hate/exile/revile such a large segment of Democratic voters.

Again, though...whatever. I guess this is just how it is now.

It's not a matter of "hating" anyone. It is a matter of seeing many former DUers, who swore they were staunch Democrats while posting here for years, finally outing themselves as RWers who think Trump is a great candidate and FOX-News actually IS "fair and balanced" news reporting.

It's the perfect little "eye opening" site for those who dismissed the oh-so-obvious RW trolls here as "disappointed Democrats" who were merely expressing their "concern".

It quickly devolved into an anti-HRC/anti-Dem site - and I do mean very quickly.

Even poor Bernie is bound for under-the-bus status if he dares to endorse HRC.

But don't take my word for it - read the site for yourself.

As an Obama supporter in 2008, I followed with interest the PUMAs' defection to sites like Hillaryis44.com. I liked to see what they were up to. Very shortly after she endorsed Senator Obama, those sites took a turn for the worse. The PUMAs were leaving en masse, and yet there were still people posting there! Pretty soon after that, those sites were 100% infested with weirdo Libertarians and nasty Republicans.

What do you think the ratio is now on the larger Sanders websites?
