bring out facts (and challenging false statements) is not the job of journalists ... unless, of course, it might tighten the horse race.

12. What might be revealed if he did release them
Tue Jul 12, 2016, 09:53 AM
Jul 2016

He is not as wealthy as he claims to be
His business interests are marginal or losing money
He has massive liability including unpaid debts.
He pays little or no taxes
His tax deductions are questionable
He contributes little or nothing to charities

Of course this speculation could be or partially or wholly incorrect, and is based solely on Trump's deliberate lack of transparency. Only one way to find out. RELEASE THEM.

I wish someone would follow that up, with "Well you're under audit by the American people now, which is more important ?"

Let's beat our drums daily.

Actually some of the Republicans who are trying to stop Trump are making the argument that their candidate should show his or her returns to guarantee the voting public he or she is fiscally intelligent (i.e., upright) enough to hold the reins of government.

Lets just make up crazy shit about what's in his taxes and the only way he will be able to prove it's not true is to release them.
