So Carlos Slim today pushed for privatizing everything

it gets better. He also pushed for delaying retirement until 70, and a work week of 3 days, with 10\11 hour days... so the other four you will have time for family, education, what have you.

Yup, read the story in La Jornada... and while the idea of having a "short" weekday is not that crazy, not surprisingly, given he made his fortune from privatization, he is all for privatizing all in sight.

So who is Carlos Slim? No, not just the richest man in Mexico... right now the richest man in the world.

Oh for those of you who want to have a good read (google will do a decent translation) go here.

Is almost the real life john Galt, save that most Ayn Rand types would not be able to wrap their heads around the fact that the richest person in the world is , well, Mexican.
