Father shoots dead ex-wife and daughter, could not cope with marriage break up

"Lance Hart, 57, waited patiently at a parking lot, waiting for his ex-spouse and daughter was they walked to their car. As they approached the car in Spalding, Lincolnshire, Lance shot both his wife, Claire and his 19 year old daughter Charlotte. He then turned the gun to himself and committed suicide.

Close friends of Lance say he suffered from severe depression and anger when his wife left him. His wife had previously told him she planned on leaving him, and the couple sold the house after their divorce was finalised. Friends of Lance say he was devastated and could not cope with the break up."

if he was angry with his wife, why on earth would he take it out on the daughter too!!!

The bruised Male Ego is a dangerous thing when given access to a firearm.

Although I've been told vehemently on DU that suicides would simply use another method absent firearms, I note that he did not kill his wife, his daughter, and himself with a knife, an ax, a swimming pool, a jart, or a truck.

Only then?

Although I've been told vehemently on DU that suicides would simply use another method absent firearms, I note that he did not kill his wife, his daughter, and himself with a knife, an ax, a swimming pool, a jart, or a truck.

Yes. Because he had a firearm. Note what you like, but realize that it does not contradict what you have "been told vehemently."

defend firearms no matter what.

That's right -- I forgot that the rule is to blame firearms, no matter what the actual circumstances are.

He didn't want another guy to take what he considered his property. That's not love.

Unfortunately, the most dangerous time for a woman is when she decides to leave a controlling POS. Then, the media reports that his broken heart made him do it. It's misogynistic BS.

they can't live and be a Self without that. And so the, first, projected killing, and then the self killing.

for their sense of self. When the people they seek to control do not act the way the abuser wants them to act, there are often violent consequences.

Spouses who love and are left, do not act violently.

Control is about extracting constant validation for a self that isn't a real, adult Self.
