"He's not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He's not gonna go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down," Trump said Sunday on ABC's "This Week."

Host George Stephanopoulos pushed back, saying, "Well, he's already there, isn't he?"

"OK, well, he's there in a certain way," Trump responded.

"But I'm not there. You have (President] Obama there. And, frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama, with all the strength that you're talking about and all of the power of NATO and all of this."

8. He is a master at changing the direction of a Q&A. Or at least trying to do that.

He knew instantly after George challenged his answer that he had answered incorrectly. So he did what he had to do to deflect from his own flawed answer and tried to drag President Obama's name into the conversation. I guess this tactic has worked for him for his whole life, so why not just glide into the Oval Office using it??
