support Don the Con BECAUSE of that fact. They see him hastening a new Dark Ages of ignorance and repression if not the Apocalypse itself.

(2,657 posts)Ask then what they think about evolution and/or science in general. I never said they would know what "Dark Ages" meant. It just describes what they want.
Ask them if they will be "saved" when the rest of the world is destroyed by their God. I never said they knew what the word "Apocalypse" means, they just want what their version of the aftermath would bring for them and theirs.
You and I are actually very much in agreement, just expressing it in different ways.

It is even worse than you said. They really do NOT know anything. It is all fantasy, delusion, imagination. 'emotional thinking,' if you will.

They're unhappy with their lives, bored, see no real productive future for them, and figure it would at least be interesting to elect trump and see how bad things get. They think electing Hillary would be boring and just keep us on the same path.

Sovereign citizens seem to like him also. They figure he will help the federal government die off.
