How will the media spin it if Trump pulls out of the debate.

Faux News: "The bravest decision any politician has ever made. He knows the liberal media
will spin the debate, so he's doing the right thing by pulling out."

CNN: "Another slam dunk victory for Trump, he sure knows how to put people in their place"

MSNBC: "Its history making, it's trump, he plays by no one rules, hes a man we can all look up
too"

WSJ and Post: "He pulled out, because Hillary wouldnt allow questions about her emails and
untruths, this has integrity written all over it"

Sean Hannity/Olielly "Its now time for America to grow up, shut up and be told, Trump is
the only man that can save us from evil monsters, the election must be cancelled and Trump
must be made president"

1. If Trump "pulls out" it is because he can not keep it up

And you know what they say if you can not keep it up then you need to go down.

He can get a head of steam going on that one. Everybody will be outraged about the conflict with the games. He will be doing the patriotic thing by backing out of the debates and let people watch their football.

opportunity to call himself the winner.

one thing the press will certainly do is declare trump the winner of the pre-debate negotiations.

trump will insist on x, y, and z, and he will threaten to pull out at least once. then, when the debates actually happen, he and the media will crow about how he got it on his terms. what a negotiator. the best. even if it's all just about being able to have an assistant refresh his orangeness during a break.

the debate itself will be a joke, with hillary giving sensible, cogent answers with facts and good policy; trump will be giving his usual set of insults and crazy non-starter ideas.

post-debate, the media and republican strategists will have no choice but to declare trump the winner, or it's a tie. they can't really give anything to hillary, at least not until the polls show the debates giving her a bounce.

Why not take it a step further? Find all the top rated shows currently on and have the commission schedule the debates to avoid them.

I can't remember the last time I watched a football game...but it was probably more than 40 years ago.

When there are 2 live events that you absolutely must see, record one and watch it later. Both event will go on whether you are personally watching or not. Decide which one demands your immediate attention, and which one can wait a couple of hours.

The schedule was set and agreed to by both major parties in September, 2015.

16. Trump will allege some unspecified unfairness
Mon Aug 1, 2016, 01:43 AM

All he wants is to be treated fairly, and {insert excuse du jour} is just so totally unfair to the man worth TEN BILLION DOLLARS, that he couldn't possibly overcome the unfair unfairness of it all! Surprisingly (or not), the popular media outlets will quote him and confess themselves persuaded that life for Donald is such an unfair proposition that this latest unfairness is just an unfair step too far. A large majority of voters will disagree, but they're just a focus group or something.
