because there really isn't a vacation season in world events. We have war in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and more; the purge after a coup in Turkey; the Olympics, with both a doping scandal and Zika virus (and that now appears to be in Florida); and a US election with bigotry, ties to Russia and more.

Do you anticipate news coverage being 'silly'?

It's fresh-out-of the conventions and far enough from the GE that candidates say and do silly things... like Drumpf is doing right now. Of course, for him, Silly Season is perpetual.
