I certainly disagree with Sally Bradshaw on a lot of things, but she did the right thing here.

Bradshaw, who's been close to the former Florida governor for decades and was senior adviser to his 2016 campaign, officially switched her registration to unaffiliated. She told CNN's Jamie Gangel in an email interview that the GOP is "at a crossroads and have nominated a total narcissist -- a misogynist -- a bigot."
"This is a time when country has to take priority over political parties. Donald Trump cannot be elected president," Bradshaw said.

(58,855 posts)FL is an early voting state. The state's demographics and Hillary's huge GOTV machine down there will force Trump to go elsewhere.

(19,264 posts)He already has very few routes to 270 and losing Florida would require an upset state somewhere else or essentially winning every battleground state.
Florida is pretty much a must win for the GOP this year. Hell even if Clinton loses Florida if she can keep them on the defense there it probably means he loses overall.
