Is something wrong with Hillary's throat?

She keeps coughing and frequently trying to clear her throat. I noticed it during the convention, and she has the same little cough today. She has to do a lot of speaking, so maybe it's just a minor throat irritation, or this time of year it could even be allergies, I hope she's not getting sick.

ANY discussion of the candidates was supposed to be in GDP back then, as they usually turned into primary fights or snark.

During the primaries the hosts locked all threads about Bernie or Hillary that appeared in General Discussion.....whether they were political or not or about the primaries or not. There was no agenda to shut down conversation, the thread would have been fine in GDP(General Discussion Primaries) where it belonged at the time.

I was a host at the time. The thread was locked correctly.

This is a common occurrence with her. I think with age the throat gets drier. I always get nervous for her when she has to do the public speaking. Coughing fits suck. She'll be fine though.

the Doctor called silent reflux. I don't know what is silent about it? I cough, clear my throat, pain in the ass. And she is talking a lot, which aggravates it .

It can cause inflammation of the throat from the acid that gets to the area. My doctor told me to take over the counter acid reducer medication (omeprazole) but it gave me too much gas so I don't take it all the time. I usually sleep with my head elevated which helps with the problem. I';; be traveling in a few months and can't take my wedge pillow with me so I will probably take the medicine while on my trip.

One of the symptoms is a need to clear one's throat. Also allergies, also air travel, also having to raise one's voice at many loud rallies.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a major contributor to nighttime reflux, especially LPR.

After I went on CPAP, most of the throat problems went away.

it could be smoke from all the wildfires here in the western states... the plume(s) are all over the central planes and southern Montana is so hazy the past couple days that the near by mountains are mere silhouettes It's kind of hard on the respiratory system, I am having a time with it, not just dry throat but my lungs feel heavy. Some of these fires have been going for weeks/more than a month.

Hillary should relax and re-charge her batteries for a chunk of August. In the long run, that's the strategic move for the kind of health, strength, sanity and basic good old-fashioned American Common Sense you absolutely need when going up against a full-blown ego-whacked chickenhawk Republican with pronounced fascist tendencies and a sticky web of Russian entanglements.
