A California Meet-Up!

DFW and his beautiful wife are in California for a few days, and so we all got together for dinner tonight at a nice local restaurant. We had a great time, lots of intelligent conversation and many stories from him and his wife!

I have some work to do here in southern California for the first time in many years, and there was no way I was going to let this chance pass. I pushed everything back a day (RHIP), and FINALLY met up with Peggy and Lionel Mandrake. My wife was gracious enough to keep me company, and so we made it a foursome for dinner (we just flew in from Boston this afternoon), and we'll spend most of the day together tomorrow before duty calls.
