Looks like the prosecutors have dropped their request to conduct the interview in Sweden - and with Ecuador as the 'middle point' looks like they can now proceed.

WikiLeaks has published damaging and confidential information from the United States and many other governments, and although there is no open indictment against Mr. Assange in Washington, he and his organization are the subject of an investigation.

Mr. Assange has previously offered to be questioned inside the embassy, but prosecutors had insisted until last year that he be interviewed in Sweden.

His lawyers in Sweden recently made a new appeal to drop the arrest warrant against him, citing the “passivity” of the Swedish prosecutor in trying to question him.

Did you see this?
He says he fears that if he is sent to Sweden, he will then be shipped to the United States, where he could be charged with espionage offenses.

You can commit espionage against ONE political PARTY. It appears his only 'big fish' is the DNC/Democratics/Liberals/Progressives.

Now being a thief in general? That's a horse of a different color. I don't see what his issue is. He's in bed with the Republicans and as we all know in America Republicans are thugs who always get away with everything.

concerning possible extradition to the US?

My question is who is making the concession here?

....and if he is in custody at the time, or he gets detained at a border crossing...I think...

If Sweden drops the charges I'd assume he's free to go just about anywhere, no?

will allow the US to extradite him for espionage.

Today WikiLeaks (via twitter) is peddling the "Hillary calls for Obama's assassination" canard from 2008 complete with a link to the apoplectic KO call out on MSNBC.

WikiLeaks is really working hard for Trump.

While one can make an argument that rape is a form of terrorism on a societal level due to it's impact on women as a whole, I think for Assange it's more about his ego and being a narcissistic hypocritical piece of shit excuse for a human being.

Out are you suggesting that his actions are equivalent to that of someone who say, drives a truck into a crowd of people, or blows up a bus?

Words matter. Hyperbole helps no-one.

An Airline ticket to the United States or Russia.
