U.S. Sens. Jeff Flake and John McCain have no trouble speaking, but they remained mute over Trump’s crude remark about “Second Amendment people” maybe having a way to prevent a President Hillary Clinton from appointing judges.

In 2011 a gunman north of Tucson used a weapon with a high-capacity magazine to fire 31 shots in 15 seconds, killing six people and wounding 13, including Giffords.

McCain and Flake represent the state where that happened.

I heard her speak in smallish office right before the NY primary. Being so close, it was easy to see the incredible effort she goes through to get those words out/

She didn't let that shooter steal her life.

That's the bottom line. She simply refused. She is amazing, and her perseverance in the face of such horrific injuries is remarkable.

That she can and will speak out when so many others won't is damning. They must be incapable of feeling shame.

When McCain still had a soul. When he corrected the woman who said Obama was a Muslim. I guess the idea of losing trumps (pun intended) everything else.
