Our Bee feeder has no HFCS!

Back during Oriole season, I found a couple dozen of the glass jars on clearance. I couldn't pass them up. It is all we use for feeding the visitors to our yard.

We still have several birds eating jelly, but the number of bees is growing.

Our next issue will be about how Marta and I are raising a summer crop without planting, fertilizing, or pesticides.

Seriously. It's much better for the bees than stuff that comes in a jar.

Look up plants that are native to your area. There is a ton of information available on the web. You can plant a variety of plants so that something will always be blooming except in the winter. It takes almost no work once you've planted them and watered them a few times. You will be attracting not only bees but also butterflies and birds to your garden.

For the Humming Birds. Once they started blooming, they haven't stopped. The bees love them too.

I wouldn't blame them if they stomped their feet and held their breath until they turned blue. FREE THE HFCS!

Sorry, apparently I've been spending too much time on RWNJ sites. Nevermind.
