In my wildest dreams

I never expected a cancer like Trump to invade the GOP. No screenwriter, no author, no playwright,no matter how talented could have scripted this. I only hope and pray that he stays in the "race" and it heads in the direction in which it seems to be heading.

But I doubt it would bother Trump's followers, a bit, if he had a 'hot mike' situation, and they found out what he really thinks about them. They'd just work up some conspiracy as to why he said it.

2. I'm not surprised - we watched the GOP lurch into radicalism with the Tea Party.

Their oppressive and regressive platform was ripe for it, and if there are sane Republicans, they didn't try to stop it. I think Drumpf was the next logical step. Even if Trump isn't smart, he was cognizant of this and exploited the opportunity.

The billionaire types running things got greedy for the teabagger and other loonie blocs' votes and thought they could maintain control.

It was before the Falwell faction took over. I did say "semi". I think we have to go all the way back to Ike to find a Republican president who didn't feck up the country for generations.

Remember this guy?

He is especially the typical Trump supporter.

The Teabaggers signaled the rise of the Trump supporter, he just exploited everything the Republicans have for so long pushed as their agenda.

he represented the masses of the ignorant lemmings who believed that the Tea Party was their way out of economic distress.
