He looks like he's shrinking. He sounds like a broken man going through the motions.

Robotic, monotone.

Doped to the gills?

This is like listening to the phone book even though it's a litany of the most appalling atrocities he can come up with.

Just holy shit.

2. I would bet his followers are just waiting for him to cut loose. They like it when he does.

So guessing they are not happy when he doesn't.

3. Getting it all by osmosis, here on DU. So... actually worse than "usual?"

If there is a "usual" with the Tasmanian Devil of American Politics...

6. Teleprompter Trump

He is reading someone else's words that he barely understands and has probably not looked at previously.

8. Ok, I steeled myself for about a 30 second viewing of his speech

He really does sound like they've chemically taken control of him. And it looks like he's wearing a new shade of spray tan.

Hopefully the meds will wear off and he'll go back on twitter to react to Joe Biden's assessment of him, today.

14. not meth....seen this link?

http://gawker.com/the-best-theory-of-1992-donald-trump-took-amphetamine-1755299885

a kudos to the bestest magazine ever....Spy...from them it came:

According to Spy, Dr. Greenberg believed the cure for “metabolic imbalance” (not an actual medical disorder) was Tenuate Dospan, a diet drug similar to dexedrine with known side effects that include “confusions” and “hallucinations,” according to the NIH. It also gives you an amphetamine-like buzz. This is all probably why it’s only supposed to be prescribed on a short-term basis, as opposed to the multiple-monthlong regimens Dr. Greenberg allegedly dosed out, according to Spy

JFK and Jackie had a similar Dr. Feelgood, Dr. Max Jacobson, with his vitamin B12 shots....ha

10. Someone upped his medication dosage.

He sounds drugged. He's talking so slow and his voice is raspier than ever. He even looks like a broken man.

12. I think he's functionally illiterate - makes it hard to read a teleprompter.

You know the burnt yam is absolutely hating having to do it. He'll probably go on a twitter rant about who-knows-what after it's all over.

11. Who is this person?

Very weird today - reading with no emotion - not stopping between sentences - kind of flat run on. I think this is up there with his most bizarre.
