He got his Bachelors almost a year ago, and has been back at home while he "figured his life out." HAHA! I wish I could do that someplace!
Anyway, he got called in for an interview at a really cool media company in Boston and nailed it the first time. First interview since school, exactly what he wanted to do, and he nailed it. Living in Cambridge now, working for a Boston media firm.
Dad is proud and happy. And Sallie Mae is happy, too.

(31,464 posts)It wasn't exactly a "tough" year, but having a kid return to your empty nest can be a bit trying. He's an incredibly talented guy, and I'm not surprised he was hired so quickly...literally, his first interview.
Thanks to that terrible "Obamacare," we've been able to keep him on our insurance since he graduated. Now, he's got his own insurance. DAMN YOU OBAMA, and your evil health care plan!
