Sandusky accuser: I screamed in vain from basement (AP)

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) — The prosecution's case in Jerry Sandusky's sex abuse trial neared its conclusion on Thursday after just four days of testimony, with three more accusers taking the witness stand, including a young man who said the former Penn State assistant football coach raped him as a teen guest in Sandusky's home.

The eighth accuser to testify told jurors the abuse began with fondling and forced oral sex and led to several instances of rape in the basement of Sandusky's Centre County home, where he spent more than 100 nights and where his muffled screams went unanswered by Sandusky's wife, Dottie, who was upstairs. He said he figured the basement must be soundproof.

"He got real aggressive and just forced me into it," said the young man, now 18 and a recent high school graduate. "And I just went with it — there was no fighting against it."

He said under cross-examination by Sandusky lawyer Joe Amendola that the attacks sometimes left him bleeding but that he never sought medical attention.

Am a rape survivor - it was a single (and life altering event). Can not imagine the effect when adding the dynamics leading to such vulnerability and helplessness which would pave the way for a teen to subject himself to this on multiple occasions. This sounds like I am doubting - I am not. I have worked with young people in extremely volatile and vulnerable situations - am trying to express how much more those circumstances compounded the psycho-emotional damage that I have had to deal with trying to overcome from a single even. To that I end my post as I started it: horrific.

I have the feeling that by the time this is over Sandusky is going to be very very lucky that the justice system doesn't allow him to be sentenced to death by torture.

Child rapists don't tend to fare very well around other criminals.

In other words, solitary. Which admittedly is its own special kind of torture, albeit one with less rape and stabbing.

So much more comfortable to ignore what he was doing spending all that time with all those young boys.

That victim #4 said that she practically walked in on them in the shower (victim and Sandusky), and then they argued about what he was doing.

There is no way in hell she didn't know what was going on and should be charged as an accessory, imo.

The more that unfolds in this case the more fucking disturbing it gets. There's no way to hide the fact that Sandusky is going away for the rest of his life and that he'll meet his fate in prison. What really pisses me off to no end is that Penn State rioted and Joe Paterno got a hero's funeral when this whole thing should disgrace the entire football program. Second Mile is so corrupt and disgusting and Jerry Sandusky got away with it for years before people realized what was going on. It's just such a colossal fuck up and Penn State's board of trustees should go down with Sandusky.
