I confess I had a medical emergency today

It's not terribly hot, mid 80's but very humid in Virginia. I was out doing yard work and cleaning the dogs yard. I pushed myself to get finished but admit I started feeling woozy and staggered up to my porch sweating profusely and had to stop and take a breath before climbing up the 3 steps to my porch. I'm feeling much better after taking the extraordinary life saving measurs of getting a drink of water and sitting in front of a fan. Whew, that was near death.

I was riding through town in 80 degree, 15% humidity with a dark shirt on and got very dizzy. I managed to stop safely, went into a gas station and got a cold drink of Gatorade. I felt much better after cooling and rehydrating with electrolytes and was able to continue on my way.

It was very surprising since it didn't seem that hit or humid, and I was young.

had forgotten to eat breakfast. I was 10 years old. Guess I should never be elected to any office and should have been hospitalized rather than sent to a swimming pool after eating something.

not allowed to have breakfast before communion, in hot robe, kneeling while others received communion and down I went. Got stuck between the kneeler and the front thing - they had a hard time getting me out. Woke up in the priest's office. that was decades ago and the doctor said I was very healthy last week so that's it!

believe her to be, but people do get woozy and light headed. I can't imagine wearing a kevlar vest, and a suit coat on a mid 80s (real feel temp) day in the sun with all those people wanting to talk to me. She should have had a coconut water with her and a hat!

Glad you survived! lol
