It not only formed over land but it seemed to instantly be a TS. That is some warm area and does not bode well for us.

this one - we'll soon know who has to worry but this might be the season's big one in the Atlantic or Caribbean.

My brother, traveling 30 east of Jax, saw a nicely-done "realtor" sign, proclaiming "Ocean Front Lots!" stuck in a vast and gaseous cloud of palmetto and titi.
