If.you start to get a high fever or your symptoms get worse then I would call but you should start to feel better in a few days.

Other illness can mimic flu but they tend to be rare in comparison to flu. Definitely watch how you feel and decide when you feel like you are worsening.

You could always call your doctors triage nurse (most practices have them now) for a second opinion.

If you follow the media reporting on Hillary, apparently coming down with an illness means you are not fit to be president.

Pharmacist said to get the 4 shot without preservatives.

Only the 3 shot was covered by insurance.

The 4 shot was $59.95 without insurance at Walgreens.

but even if you THINK you do, please do not "tough it out" and go to work (or do anything else around other people). For most people the flu is something they can eventually get over, but to anyone who is immune compromised ...

For what it's worth, every time I've had the flu it was kind of like I felt okay one minute, and then within an hour or so, I felt like death warmed over.

Stay hydrated, take aspirin or Tylenol if your temp goes up. Drink juice and clear liquids. Hot tea is good. Over the counter meds if it moves to sinus or chest. If it stays longer than a week see dr or go to urgent care for antibiotic.

Rest and sleep is good. My preferred "bad cold" remedy is aleve+sudafed which drugstore sells behind counter.
