I'm not sure whether it is a germ phobia or just plain contempt. Either way, this darling little girl picked up a negative vibe and knew that she was nothing but a prop, the human equivalent of the PlayDoh in the Baton Rouge flood photo op. Trump's handlers probably saw the adorable footage of her with the president and thought they could use her to generate something equally endearing. Wrong! Just like in the old story, it was a little child who knew that the emperor wasn't wearing any clothes.
