Forums are a great place for news. But when I think about all this energy that goes into forums... how much of it is endlessly rehashing some issues over and over?
I keep thinking about how a campaign might hinge on a single issue, zinger in a debate, a new protest, or ad campaign. Wouldn't it be more productive to create a forum that could be used just as a "think tank" of sorts to come up with some suggestions for the Hillary campaign?
Just a thought.

(1,629 posts)Up until about 10 years ago Move On had what I'd dub an on-line think tank. It set up forums to come to some resolution on some very specific issues... slogans for T-shirts, whatever. They abandoned these smaller forums in favor of one large forum to provide input on issues to the MO leadership. But that forum was discontinued about 10 years ago.

It takes me about as much energy to post here as it does for me to watch TV.
Now, if only all that TV-watching energy could be somehow tapped into and harnessed...
