Uh Oh, Pence says he views Cheney as a role model for being VP

Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate, Mike Pence, said he views former vice president Dick Cheney as a role model for the No. 2 job in the administration.

If you're going to be the veep of an ignorant, intellectually-incurious, dubiously-competent, gobsmackingly-privileged POTUS who is more concerned with the title than the actual work or being President, Cheney's pretty much your only role model.

But I think Trump is too arrogant to let somebody have as much power as Cheney did. It would run counter to Trump's tough guy macho star self-image. Bush had a lot of flaws, but generally speaking he was better at not being seen as trying to be the star of the show (at least when not in a flight suit). Trump wants the fawning attention.

I'm really looking forward to seeing his face when he loses in November when he realizes he's been rejected.
