(40,532 posts)Them 'game theory' boy's antics really detract from the game.
Wilson is the real deal, and he will go far until he has a brain-fart. And when that happens, we'll still see him again in the Tournament of Champions down the road.

(298,765 posts)Yes!!!! We have a five day winner - Seth is really smart - did not bet a dollar in the final

(40,532 posts)I don't view Jeopardy! for two more hours, and I'd like to take a stab at guessing Final Jeopardy based on just the category. Two hours to mull it over would be cool.

(29,703 posts)I have to say, though, that last night - and the night before - I couldn't understand why the other players couldn't get the final right. They seemed overly easy.
Anyway, he seems likeable, and he's not a category jumper like Arthur Chu, Jeopardy Villain! which is all to the better.

(29,703 posts)For those of us who like to play along at home, it makes it less entertaining. It has also created more lopsided scores, but they are based on strategy, not knowledge. Jeopardy used to have an appealing, egghead quality to it that's waning. Players get a lot of money at the beginning and stop ringing in!

(4,033 posts)Jeopardy. Tonight when they first showed the final jeopardy category, I looked over at my mom & said "what is Aida." When they showed the answer, I said "mom it is Aida."
This is at least the 3rd time I've had the correct answer just based on knowing the category. Once the category was 1950's poetry, I told mom "what is the Howl. I was right. The next one was Sports Cities, I said "what is Pittsburgh." I was right.
Mom hates when I do that.
