Not only did he have to deal with some of the ugliest tactics from Republican opponents, but like all Presidents, he made some errors (i.e. Japanese internment). Still, his mistakes were far less numerous than his accomplishments and overwhelming achievements.
I wish those who still pick apart HRC to such a fine degree and seemingly are inconsolable that she isn't "Perfect", would spend some time studying FDR and some of our other truly great Presidents. I think a far more balanced perspective might emerge.
