Two words for debate upgrade:

"Mute buttons"

I would pay to see Trump go silently Yosemite Sam when he realizes the mod is holding down the button.

1. That's OK - my mute button worked just fine last night

Even though I am working hard to wear the printing off the button this campaign season!

Though I do wish they WOULD have a mute button so that candidates could not interrupt each other. On the other hand, Donnie constant interruptions showed what a boar he is and that likely offended a lot of people, especially women.

I still keep wishing Lester Holt had channeled Walter Sobchak:

2. That would give the moderator too much power over the candidates.

I thought last nights moderator did a great job - letting Trump interrupt and go on blathering only hurt Trump and helped Clinton.

3. Agreed ....

Part of the debate process is how the candidates conduct themselves. If a candidate acts in a rude or bullying manner, that is something we should be able to see.

I don't think Holt did a great job, but I do think he did pretty well
