can be nipped in the bud if the now adult Chelsea makes a statement that echos what you said in your OP.

Such a statement by Chelsea kind of puts this whole thing out there and puts it behind them.

Something to the effect that she knows her Dad did wrong. He's human though and I understand. I love both of my parents and I'm glad that my Mother thought enough about me and her marriage to forgive him and work it out.

My parents are stronger now together than ever and they make terrific grandparents to my children.

This would take the air out of any Trump attack of this sort. The media would eat this up. It would put HRC in a good light.
It would prevent this issue from coming up at the next debate by Trump.

It would trump - Trump.

Just my opinion as to how I'd handle this situation if I were advising Hillary.

so I'm saying is beat them to the punch. Have Chelsea make a pre-emptive statement that beats them to the punch. Diffuse it before they have a chance to make this an issue. Let them know that there is no there - there. See my post above.
