Grand Rapids is a VERY red area, which is why Trump probably felt safe going there. I'd be interested to see a poll from that side of the state.

On Sunday downtown GR rolls in the sidewalks. Just ask the DeVoss family, and their AmWay empire. Half the city is named after them, and their Jesus network.

GR is the home of the Dutch Reformed Church. And DeVoss is a principal.

My cousin just relocated to GR, to be by her kids. The only other thing that might tempt me to that city would be a visit to Horrocks Farm Market. Fortunately, there is one of those much closer to me, in Lansing.

when the votes come in and don't look anything like those online polls being diddled by white guys on 4chan and Reddit, not to mention Russia. My gut says he will not concede but will shriek about unfairness and vote rigging and call on all Trump Chumps to start slaughtering any neighbor they suspect of not voting their way.

Likely some of the more unhinged ones will do just that.

Be glad all you're facing is a Cat. 4 hurricane.

(Stay safe, by the way)

and the worst of it misses both you and Haiti. Then again, eastern Cuba would get clobbered even harder. Here's hoping anyone with expensive sea view property has the brains to get the hell out of Dodge and go to a shelter inland.

Trump, on the other hand, is likely to create a prolonged disaster.

Well, everyone, and after 3 or 4 days and nights of no sleep, Melania will grab Barron and check in at a hotel under a fake name until donny is picked up and taken to a psych ward for heavy medication and finally, a proper diagnosis. He'll be so hard to live with that she'll divorce him.

Don't know if she followed up on it since I was back and forth with the football game.
