Schilling Says He Wants to Challenge Warren

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling says that he’s “serious” about mounting a 2018 challenge to unseat Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Politico reports.

Said Schilling: “Oh, I’m serious about it. If I’m not electable, then I won’t get elected but I believe being a senator, being a governor, being in public office is about being a leader.”

He also derided Hillary Clinton: “I don’t understand how Hillary’s an option, much less the candidate. I don’t understand how she’s not in jail.”

I will think about voting for him when he pays the people of RI the money he stole from them. Thank the little baby NASCAR jesus that they did not fall for that shit in MA. He did pitch a hell of a game to win a world series, but my vote is more valuable than the trophy.

He gets massaged by a sports talk hate show and he thinks MA people are listening to him in nodding approval. I know no one who doesn't view him as a buffoon.

Don't want it lost in the shuffle:

Curt Schilling, ESPN Analyst, Is Fired Over Offensive Social Media Post

Schilling, who had worked for the network since 2010 and most recently offered analysis on “Monday Night Baseball,” was dismissed after sharing a Facebook post this week that appeared to respond to the North Carolina law that bars transgender people from using bathrooms and locker rooms that do not correspond with their birth genders.

The post showed an overweight man wearing a wig and women’s clothing with parts of the T-shirt cut out to expose his breasts. It says: “LET HIM IN! to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die.”

To that, Schilling added: “A man is a man no matter what they call themselves. I don’t care what they are, who they sleep with, men’s room was designed for the penis, women’s not so much. Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic.”

His tweets are often even more unhinged than Trumps.

Judging by the way most of the GOP have stood behind Trump, I can't really blame him for thinking he has the right stuff to be a Republican politician.

Oh, and Warren will eviserate him!
