Ok, I'm comparing Trump to ISIS. See if this is legit or if I'm the one in need of medication....
I've observed on a broad level that the people who are flocking to ISIS are basically, for want of a better phrase, and (advance apologies to all the sane minded people with disorders and psychiatric issues)
inhinged. Of course they are. No one in their right mind would actively seek out suicidal, violent murderous and torturing practices en masse. I think we can agree on that. Well, in spending way too much time on trumpster based boards and sites, etc.... I've observed a few things... First, there are an inordinate amount of foreigners on trumpies' FB pages all bellowing their brave support for trump. From south africa, england, india, russia, etc.. And they're all basically unhinged, with very strange personal pages and comments. Second, I have yet to come across one single literate or well spoken person that supports trump, from any nationality. Ok, there's one guy who's like off the charts, but he's a lot like trump, talking fast, writing fast, spewing repeated nonsense from the paranoia pages. He's smart but clearly from the realm of 'in need of serious medication and currently self-medicating' (again, no offense to any of our friends). So, I draw the comparison that these types of behaviors that we see in trump and in the isis f*ckwads attract a very specific portion of the population that is compromised in a peculiar psychiatric way, and not in a good way at all. How do we react to this, address it and counter it? What does it take to get through to these people or to literally stop them? FFS it's taking bombs to get rid of ISIS... how do we squash this among semi-civilized societies?

1. Very few Trashpot Supporters can back up their defense with facts
When I visit the alt right rag comments site I notice that parallel all the time. I make sure to point that out all the time.... all the hatred and hating of others sounds a lot like ISIS...I make sure to point out that the teachings of Jesus say to love your enemy etc..etc. I say why does the Atheist have to point this out to you...you supposed good Christian followers.

2. What it seems you are saying is that people with psychiatric issues that
like Trump are unhinged and people with psychiatric issues that don't like Trump are sane minded.
Confusing. |

3. I can only posit that there are definitely different degrees of mental disorders. Most people that
have personality disorders are basically doing their best to enjoy life in the mainstream, and work really hard to be good decent people.
But there is a whole 'nuther level of these disorders that leans into pathologically violent with horrible thoughts and too often, deeds. That's the trump/isis level I'm referring to. Have you come across anyone who's normal who supports trump? Maybe it's a particular disorder of the segment that makes the likes of isis and trump appealing? I wonder if that's possible. |
