Staying true to his primary debate prep work, Trump added that he wont do a trial run before the big day.
I hadn't planned on it. I never did it before, he said before joking that only a natural disaster could deter him from sparring against Clinton.
Um, hurricanes, natural disaster. No, I expect to do all three, he quipped, adding that the choice of moderators wont keep him away.

He said it 'jokingly' but do not be surprised if Trump pulls out of Sunday's debate to "console" and "help out" in Florida!

(25,816 posts)1. And if he does, it will only make him look like an idiot.
Kind of like when McCain suspended his campaign in 2008. He tried to act like the financial crisis was so horrific he couldn't possibly carry on, but then was caught doing absolutely nothing. It certainly didn't help him.
Same with Trump. Unless he actually starts cutting checks for people who have lost whatever in the hurricane, he won't be doing anything meaningful.

(30,803 posts)2. That was good. Obama said that a president had to be able to multitask.
And made McCain look foolish.

he'd rather be known for dropping out than being verbally beaten again "by a girl!"
