Wait a minute . . . . have I missed this detail of the TrumpTape story? Seriously.

Did Access Hollywood supply the tape?

I assumed it had been an anonymous source. What I'm reading now indicates that AH found and released it.

Is that true?

A producer remembered the Trump segment from years ago, dug up the material and was preparing a piece on it.

During production of that piece, it was leaked or otherwise provided to WaPo.

If they are suspicious about the timing of this release then they should be more upset at Trump for not releasing information like this. The other 15 candidates are probably thinking the worst was selected as the RNC nominee.
