My 86 year old mother is getting ready...........

to watch the debate. The last words I heard before she went to her room to put her jammies on was "don't forget the popcorn."

Over dinner she said that she took pride in staying up for the entire 2nd debate & she hopes to do that again tonight.

I hope my interest will endure into my 86th year. May she live many, many more so that she can attend to future debates.

stay awake for the entire debate. (We are in California where it starts at 6 pm.) Had to laugh during the Dem Convention, they said that they struggled to stay awake because they wanted to hear President Obama's speech. When I mentioned how cool it was that President Obama and Hillary hugged when she walked onstage at the end of his speech, they looked surprised and said "Uh oh...I guess we nodded off and missed that." I replayed it for them on my laptop. My mother is just totally perplexed at how ANYBODY could be voted for Trump. She keeps saying "He is so horrible.I just don't understand this." like she is worried she is hallucinating or has the beginning of dementia.
