"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation … I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation," he wrote.

Notice that the stock market immediately tanked after the news broke. Investors don't want volatility and uncertainty of a Trump administration. But biotech stocks jumped upward. Those investors don't want price regulation.

The investigation was never formally "closed," all they're doing is looking at newly discovered e-mails from an unrelated matter (NOT the WikiLeaks garbage), their decision to not charge Hillary with any crime is UNLIKELY to change. Also some references to the fact that these were NOT e-mails on Hillary's private server.

Had Comey been more forthcoming in his statement, this story would be seen as the non-starter that it really is. Unfortunately, Comey's vague statement is a rather transparent effort to try to influence the election.
