the world's most powerful law enforcement agency. That theory should pretty much be dismissed on its face.
Claiming it's blackmail implies he's done something criminal the GOP can leverage against him meaning it would either be personal or connected to Democratic party. Seeing as he was President Obama's choice claiming he has a personal failing is the best of the worst possibilities but if it's not a personal failing then it becomes the worst of the worst for the Democratic party because his vulnerability becomes the party's vulnerability.
