2. It's 12:32 a.m. ET, and there's a cheetah. WOW!!!!!

Make that 2 zebras, 2 warthogs, and possibly a wildebeest.

28. I was watching, one afternoon, when a beautiful male lion with a full mane stopped by for a drink

Of course, it was night, at the pond. None the less, it was most exciting. I've also seen the cheetahs and leopards, a couple of times.

Yesterday there was a mama elephant with the youngest calf I've ever seen, at the pond. It couldn't have been more than a day or two old.

65. That zebra was hanging out on its own and making me nervous. Had a couple of antelope or gazelles

With it for a few seconds, but was by itself far too much.

and it ran when the hyena (was that a hyena or a fox?) showed up.

Wasn't sure. I was amazed that he got away. Coyote must have been very thirsty

69. Not sure either. I thought the deer/gazelle was a goner. It's definitely the crane's domain.

All the other animals come and go and it just stays near the rocky part of the shore and observes. I really need to shower, breakfast and dress, but I can't tear myself away.
