Reminded him that the GOP is an evil crime syndicate, we laughed. My daughter says she'll vote this afternoon.
My polling place had a pile of I voted stickers by the door, so I took three - to troll the Trumpster at the office. "Ya know if you tell them you're a Democrat you get extra ballots"
I don't really want him to have a stroke I just like that particular shade of red his face gets

(11,463 posts)and school board members. On the partisan ones, I voted for the incumbents in all but one case. Even when the incumbent judge was unchallenged (except, as always, by a "write-in: ______", as everyone is). I was taught to vote for the incumbent because sometimes some whackos organize a write-in campaign, and the likelihood is much greater that they are right-wing whackos than from the left... I did my research previously by looking at my ballot online to check out all the races where there was competition.

(693 posts)my polling place did not have a single HRC sign and was plastered with #Drumpf signs. Two old people in front of me were decked out in their "Make America Great Hats" and wearing Trump pins all over their red sweaters. I kindly asked if they were voting for HRC to which they were visibly pissed off!!! Great way to piss off a few Trumptards on the way to making history!!!
Went straight Dem ticket too!

(1,941 posts)Before I get banned, here's how it happened:
There was a local State District Representative contest that only had a republican running - so I used the "Write In" line to enter "Donald J. Trump"
I just hope write-ins don't wreak too much havoc with vote tabulation.

(16,331 posts)here in Michigan. Like many of us senior baby boomer women, I got a bit choked up about casting my first vote for a woman as POTUS. Glad I'm still around to witness this historic event.
We're with you, Hillary!!!
P.S. Gotta ad that when I see the stamina this woman has who is a year or so older than me, I am so jealous. How the heck does she keep going after all she's been through? She is one STRONG WOMAN. Just what our country needs.

(4,490 posts)It was pretty great other than a line of anti-choice idiots and their giant images of dismembered fetuses, and a near car accident. Got to see and meet some candidates that showed up for last minute pitches, saw Ted Strickland briefly on the way out, lots of enthusiastic voters, and everything was organized and swiftly moving.
Sick today, so glad I was able to take care of it when I did. Early voting oppourtunities are pretty darn important.

(7,183 posts)Steady stream of people to vote but no long lines (yet). CNN did a feature story about our county today, calling it the changing face of America - just under 50 % white and voting bluer and bluer with each election cycle. The report said Prince William should be a warning sign to the GOP.
And I'm to rub that warning in their faces!
