Personally, I love that Trump said the popular vote was "rigged"

We now know that it must REALLY be eating him up that he lost the popular vote and that more voters wanted Hillary and not him. This just proves it.

We all know about Trump's massive ego. He's feeling massive cognitive dissonance from the conflict between him being convinced that he's the Second Coming and the reality of him LOSING the popular vote.

How does he deal with it? It must be rigged! Why doesn't he want a recount if he truly thinks he actually won the popular vote? Because deep down he knows he lost.

because in terms of ego it's the popular which would matter more.

and it's also part of why he didn't go on a "winning" type rant that we might usually have expected.

just imagine how it must be burning him up to think of that huge popular vote loss.

The nazis have control of all 3 branches at fed level, plus HUGE margins at state house, state senate, statewide elected officers and governorships. The only one we can hope to claw back in next 8 years is POTUS in 2020, maybe the us senate in 2024 (yes, you read that right)

His claim is that millions of illegals voted in the election.

Who knows, maybe he's right.

But what I do know, is that after he puts 3 justices on SCOTUS, you can expect voter ID laws to make a roaring return.

All of the rulings on "show me your papers" stops, and having to show proof of citizenship to vote will be revisited; precedent be damned. Don't be surprised if nearly every one of the 2/3 of the states where the GOP has control excercise some kind of voter purge of anyone with an "illegal" sounding name.

Disinfranchisenent of felons will be extended and codified.

Crosscheck will be stepped up as well.

Caging will happen on a near-national level.

They lost by 2 million votes; look for 4 million people to lose their right to vote by 2018.

He's been the squishy swing voter for years; he dies or retires and is replaced with a hardcore conservative, lots of rulings that might have been a toss up go right.

Elections have consequences.

The 2020 elections will be the most important in American history since the Civil War, maybe even more if Trump only gets the one SCOTUS (the erstwhile Garland seat) pick in his first term, and if the 2018 Senate races go as badly for us as I think they will. We have to claw back many state level houses/senates in order to stop the Rethugs from further gerrymandering the US House post 2020 Census.
