I don't have ANY faith that this recount or audit will change a thing. Nonetheless, just out of PURE curiosity, WHAT would happen should widespread fraud be found? How would it be handled, and who would do it?

and credibility, not that participants wanted to bring down the nation. And, there was no concept of outside hackers, cheats and the like.

Complete chaos, possibly the military being involved in a coup and over 200 years of democracy in shambles. It would, to maintain our republic with any sense of its traditions, require at least a constitutional convention to prevent it from ever happening again.
