"Trump Treasury secretary pick Mnuchin's tax claims about the wealthy defy math"

Last sentence in article: "But Mnuchin may have overstepped the law of numbers when he said the wealthy will get no tax break."

THEY CAN'T CALL THE FUCKER A LIAR?

I don't know if I should cry or laugh

because most of it is pure crap. I don't own a TV nor have cable, but the internet is my only real source for news and most of the decent news organizations are outside the border of the United States.

8. In 2001, I turned off local and national TV news for an entire year

It was quite eye-opening when I was compelled to get all my news thru reading. I did not watch the 9/11 coverage on TV. Since then, I've blocked Faux on my TV (I consider Faux to be malicious).

In 2017, I am going back to reading my news (subscribing to WaPo, Guardian, and a few select others), and will stop watching MSNBC so much (even though I like Rachel and Lawrence).

If DUers reading this want a good New Year's resolution, resolve to stop watching local and national TV news for a period of time (try 30-60 days).

I did the same in 2000 until 9/11. Nothing will get me to turn on those channels now.

I also gave up listening to CNN and MSNBC on Sirius driving to and from work. Now I listen to Progress and occasionally POTUS.
