I just called Patty Murray's Everett office and spoke to a very nice aide (Anne) and I told her that if president elect
"he who shall NEVER be named" even THINKS about nominating Sarah freakin' Palin as the Head of Veteran's Affairs, it would be a complete travesty. I said that I would expect at the Senate Confirmation Hearings that Senator Murray would question Ms Palin and expose her for the completely, unqualified moron that she is. I estimated it would take Patty about one minute to "out" Palin as a total idiot. The aide asked me where I lived, I told her and she said she would pass my message on to Senator Murray and she thanked me for calling.
I thanked her for her time! It felt good to call...I had to do something! Everett, WA. office: 1- (425) 259-6515

(7,768 posts)If there's anyone who knows and is a champion of Veteran's issues, inside and out, it's Patty Murray!
She will make quick mincemeat of Ms. Wolf-Killer of the North.
I just can NOT imagine that Dump would even consider tossing Palin in front of a Senate panel for grilling and humiliation. He couldn't be THAT stupid, could he?

(82,849 posts)So that when the Senator comes out to say that nobody called their office to voice opposition to Sarah Palin, you can say for sure that that's not true. Be firm, but respectful, with the person answering the phone. You don't have to get all up in their face. Just register your preference as a concerned citizen to your elected official.
