I think you can hide them by keyword. Or just by hitting the "X" next to the thread title.

You're hilarious and the clutter comes from those who are saying trumpfuhrer voters are just poor, in pain white rust bucket. ...uuhhh.... belt males who are misunderstood. I'll be watching the "productive discussions and challenges" closely, already am. I hope you "productives" get your fantasy forum, really.

Because clicking the X or hiding by obvious keywords is a difficult, nay-- insurmountable challenge. Visceral reactions for some weeks to a rather negative outcome to the election is a normal reponse. Tritely asking that the visceral remain in its proper and appropriate place is not.
But it certainly allows us the pretense of how serious and clever we are.
